Local resident, artist and UHS Class of 1997 Graduate Hattie Weselyk recognized for her work teaching ballet to students at Darlington Arts Center

Hattie Weselyk Amhaus graduated from Unionville High School Class of 97 and we recently heard that she is being honored for her work at the Darlington Arts Center this weekend at their Arts Salute to Spring

Teaching Artist Excellence Award: 

Hattie has taught dancers of all levels at Darlington for many years and is well loved for her ballet classes and work with the Darlington Dance Company. 

She studied at The School of American Ballet in association with the NYC Ballet Company, at the Juilliard School of Performing Arts; former principal dancer with The Brandywine Ballet Company; teacher and choreographer for local studios and theatres. Performed with Opus 1 Contemporary Dance Company of Philadelphia. 

Her handcrafted silver jewelry is exhibited in galleries, juried shows, and boutiques in PA, DE, NJ and Canada, and has been featured on the cover of Brandywine Signature Magazine. Learn more about Hattie here.
