UCF Robotic Team Flaming Phoenix won Connect Award

UCF Robotic Team Flaming Phoenix won Connect Award at FIRST Eastern PA Qualifying tournament
UCF Robotic Team Flaming Phoenix represented school district participated FIRST PA East Qualifying Tournament on Saturday, 11/19/2016. Flaming Phoenix competed with 32 very strong teams and was awarded Connect Award.  The judges had this to say about our team 

"This union of FTC team members forded the gap of knowledge between students, the community, and engineering professionals. With mythical powers, they mentored FLL teams throughout the region. Their red hot influence on peers and industry alike gives FIRST Tech Robotics wings to fly".

Flaming Phoenix is consisted of 6 Unionville high school and 3 Patton middle school students.  They are Rachael Folmar, Justin Warner, Kaelyn Gaza, Christy Ammon, Austin Hwa and Matt Caputo from high school; and Matt Farr, Ansh Abbaraju and Brandon Tsai from middle school.
