Brain Based Strategies in Education and Growth Mindset - K-5



Unionville Chadds Ford School District, in combination with The Franklin Institute, invite parents K-5 to a night on Brain Based Strategies for Education and Growth Mindset for parents and kids.

Julia Skolnik, Curriculum Specialist and Assistant Director of Professional Development at the Franklin Institute, will present in collaboration with Unionville teachers, Erika Johnson, Kathryn Markloff, & John Wagner.

  • Learn current research on how the brain learns 
  • Debunk the myths surrounding student learning. 
  • Gain strategies and leave with resources to help all learners 
  • Topics covered include memory, learning styles, attitude, studying, growth, grouping and perseverance. 

When: November 8th at 7PM
Where: Pocopson Elementary
For Whom: Any parent of a student in kindergarten to fifth grades



Please RSVP by November 1st, if possible, so we can ensure seating for all. Last minute attendance is allowable as well.
